Sade Begins Soldier Of Love World Tour In France (PHOTOS)

Sade kicked off her first world tour in 10 years this past weekend in Nice, France. The “Love Is Found” songbird serenaded fans with her signature velvety-smooth voice with her classics “Smooth Operator”, “Pearls” and “Cherish The Day” as well as her more recent hits from her 2010 chart-controlling album Soldier Of Love. Looks like we're not the only ones planning to pick up Sade's Ultimate Collection when it drops — to kick off the start of their Coming Home tour in Minneapolis last night, Diddy-Dirty Money are giving away a free track, "No Ordinary Love", which covers the chorus to the Brit soul group's hit of the same name. By the time the 53rd Grammys wrapped up last night, Lady Antebellum rode away with five awards (including Record and Song Of The Year, and Best Country Song)—though they lost out on Album Of The Year in a surprise upset to Arcade Fire's The Suburbs. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga—who arrived at the shindig in an alien pod—clinched a Best Pop Vocal Album win for The Fame Monster, and during her speech gave thanks to Whitney Houston. "I wanted to thank Whitney, because when I wrote 'Born This Way' I imagined she was singing it..." Interesting—most other people thought she imagined Madonna.
