Sara Bareilles nabbed comedy actor Jonah Hill to make his directorial debut for her jovial new video "Gonna Get Over You", the new single from her album Kaleidoscope Heart, and she thought it was an appropriate match-up. "There’s something really special about being someone’s first, like he’s a video virgin," she said of longtime friend Hill. "I feel like I’m in new territory as well because I’m dancing for the first time, it’s a totally different thing I’ve never done." We are heartbroken at the news that Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home earlier today. Not surprisingly, many of her fellow musicians are, too. Hordes of artists took to Twitter to celebrate the talented but troubled performer, who, as Lance Bass, Big Boi, and others pointed out in their tweets, died at the same fatal age as Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Jim Morrison. Sara Bareilles Replaces Nicole Scherzinger On ‘The Sing Off’

Now that The X Factor has snatched Nicole Scherzinger as their Cheryl Cole replacement, somebody's got to replace Scherzy's judging duties on NBC's a capella competition The Sing Off. The lucky lady filling Nic's spot will be "Love Song" singer Sara Bareilles, who will appear on the judges' panel next to Boys II Men's Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds. "A cappella music is very near and dear to my heart, and I have been a huge fan of the show from the beginning," Bareilles said in a statement. "I love the opportunity to be a part of something that celebrates a genre of music that I just adore and believe in." The show returns on September 19. [Via EW]
