Justin Bieber, RedFoo, Shakira & Seal At NRJ Music Awards 2012 (PHOTOS)
Justin Bieber, Shakira and LMFAO’s RedFoo were in Cannes this weekend for the 13th Annual NRJ Music Awards — but before they could be crowned winners, they first had to strut (or in RedFoo’s case, shuffle) down the red carpet. The sexy “She Wolf” sparkled in a strapless, glittery number despite the rainy weather, and Bieber rocked a bright blue jacket and a slicked back ‘do, as both were bestowed NRJ’s Award Of Honor. RedFoo seemed excited to be sporting his zebra fanny pack once again, or perhaps the upcoming Super Bowl performer had an inkling that LMFAO would win big: The group walked away with International Group/Duo of the Year and Music Video Of The Year for “Party Rock Anthem”. Live-Blogging The “American Idol” Finale, Part II: This, Right Here, Is Our Now
Welcome to our second night of live-blogging the American Idol finale, two hours of spectacle leading up to the crowning of a David as the favorite pop singer of this very phone-equipped nation. I’m watching the TV Guide Channel’s preshow, which has Kimberly Caldwell screaming a lot and Justin Guarini laughing dumbly a bunch and Janice Dickinson saying that she’s in the tank for Archie too. (For that the producers denied Danny Noriega a ticket? Hmph.) Also, apparently Simon Cowell told Justin Guarini that it was a draw while I was on the phone?! Looks like someone saw our poll! Coverage begins after the jump…
Can Seal Make Figure Skating Cool?
Ed. note: Last night, the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., hosted “The Music Of Seal On Ice,” which would bring together the songs of the deep-voiced, Heidi Klum-attached crooner and the ice-skating prowess of Brian Boitano, Todd Eldredge, and Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman (who look like they’re attacking Seal with Ina’s skate above). And lucky for us, former Idolator guestblogger Maria Sciarrino happens to be an expert on both figure skating and pop music, so we bundled her up and sent her down to the nation’s capital for a report on just what would happen when one tried to combine a Seal concert with a few jumps and spins on the ice.

- Seal and wife Heidi Klum had their second child yesterday. Though only a few hours old, the boy is already pleading with his father to knock it off with movie-soundtrack crap and get back in the studio with Trevor Horn. [E!] More »
