Flo Rida Skydives Over Dubai In “Wild Ones” Video

Thu Feb 9 2012 by Becky Bain
As Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" continues to crawl up the Hot 100 (it's currently at its peak position at #3), the MC is having some majorly good feelings in his fun-loving new video for "Wild Ones". In the vid, the Miami native travels around the world to Dubai, and keeps busy with a full schedule of wild activities: sky-diving (yep, that really is Flo falling out of a plane), air-boating, and partying the night away. Sia, who is featured on the track, unfortunately sits this one out. What, could Flo not afford one more plane ticket to UAE? We wanna see Sia skydive, too! Vid below. More »

David Guetta And Sia Reveal Their Superhuman “Titanium” Video

Wed Dec 21 2011 by Becky Bain
David Guetta and Sia's "Titanium" is one of our favorite tracks on the world-famous DJ's Nothing But The Beat, and the entralling song now has an equally magnetic video. Neither David nor Sia appear in the clip, which instead features Super 8 star Ryan Lee as a kid with supernatural powers running away from the authorities. The video is beautifully shot, and is courageous enough not to answer all its mysteries. Catch it below. More »

Madonna Album Rumors: Sia Collaborates On Ballad “Trust”

Wed Dec 21 2011 by Becky Bain
Though Madonna won't be eligible for an Oscar in 2012, that shouldn't quell her fans' excitement for her 12th studio album. (It didn't get voted "Most Anticipated" by Billboard readers for nothin'!) According to Drowned Madonna, Madge has followed in Christina Aguilera's footsteps and has collaborated with Sia on a ballad. Being that the Sia-penned ballads were the best thing on Bionic, we'd say this is a wise move. More »

Flo Rida And Sia Are “Wild Ones” On New Dance Track

Thu Dec 15 2011 by Becky Bain
We're thrilled that Sia has had a change of heart from when she previously said she was thinking about giving up music to become "a dog masseuse", as the Aussie singer-songwriter has been popping up all over the place. After working with Christina Aguilera (on Bionic and Burlesque, as well as on Xtina's upcoming LP and on The Voice), she appeared on David Guetta's "Titanium", and can be currently heard bubbling all over Flo Rida's new club banger "Wild Ones". Hear it below! More »

Madonna’s Upcoming Album To Possibly Feature Sia Track “Trust”

Wed Sep 28 2011 by Robbie Daw
Another week, another Madonna album rumor. This time word on the street is that one of the "strongest tracks" on the hydrangea-loathing pop queen's upcoming 12th studio LP (due out in the spring) is called "Trust," and it was either co-penned or co-produced by none other than Sia Furler. "It is said to be like 'Live to Tell,' but ten times better," writes Examiner.com. That's music to our ears, since "Live To Tell" is like the ultimate Madge ballad! (Though "Power Of Goodbye" is pretty kick-ass, too.) More »

Sia Song Cut From ‘Twilight’ Soundtrack

Tue Sep 27 2011 by Robbie Daw
The tracks on the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 soundtrack (out November 8) have been confirmed, and the first single from it, Bruno Mars' melancholy "It Will Rain," has been released. But those Twihards hoping to hear Sia return to the franchise, following her musical stint with "My Love" on last year's Eclipse soundtrack, are going to think this truly sucks (ahem): her contribution to the new film was cut. "bummer i got bumped from the breaking dawn soundtrack!!!" Sia tweeted last night. Bloody hell. Here's hoping the tune surfaces on her next album, which she's recording with Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi.

Who Did David Guetta’s “Titanium” Better: Mary J. Blige Or Sia?

Fri Aug 5 2011 by Becky Bain
Mary J. Blige recorded her vocals for David Guetta's Nothing But The Beat track "Titanium", but for some undisclosed reason, Guetta instead went with a version featuring Aussie singer-songerwriter Sia for the final cut of his album. Why? We don't know. And honestly, we like them both. What could have led Guetta to go with Sia's take over Mary's, particularly since, with no offense to Sia, Mary is the more well-known artist? While we're waiting on that one, listen to both versions below and tell us which one you prefer. More »

Mary J. Blige Gets Metallic On David Guetta’s Leaked Track “Titanium”

Thu Jul 21 2011 by Idolator Staff
David Guetta's upcoming LP Nothing But The Beat has an impressive and extensive roster of guest stars, but one name we didn't know was a part of the project is braided rocker chick Mary J. Blige. The "Feel Inside" songstress lends her powerhouse pipes to the magic bubble-blower's track "Titanium," giving the jam an unexpected, unconventional sound for an electronic dance number. Unfortunately for the Helpful diva, however, the album's track list has Sia singing "Titanium," so it seems as though Blige's version was scrapped for some reason. Head below for a listen. More »

David Guetta’s Track List Has ‘Nothing But The Beat’ — And A Ton Of Guest Stars

Fri Jul 15 2011 by Idolator Staff
David Guetta already asked "Where Them Girls At?" in the first single from his forthcoming album. The answer is, apparently, "on David Guetta's album" — since the newly-released track list reveals that a number of notable ladies will appear on Nothing But The Beat. In addition to Nicki Minaj on "Where Them Girls At" (and another track called "Turn Me On"), the French producer will make little bad girls out of Jennifer Hudson, Sia, Dev and Jessie J. And lest you wonder where them boys are at, too, they're here in spades — but it might be easier just to mention hip hop artists who are not lending vocals here. Check it out below. More »
