Single Cover Diva-Off: Cheryl Cole’s “The Flood” Vs. Take That’s “The Flood”
Tue Jan 4 2011 by Becky Bain
British pop songbird (and possible X Factor judge?) Cheryl Cole looks stunning on the cover art of her new song, "The Flood", keeping the focus on her profile and her mane of hair instead of the atrocious footwear on her Messy Little Raindrops album cover. Vast improvement, this is.

Has the world really run out of original song titles? Watch all three performances below.

Take That might be intrigued to find out that Girls Aloud/X Factor songstress Cheryl Cole will be releasing a single called "The Flood" shortly (hear it at Music And Lyrics), since their own Stuart Price-produced tune with the same title recently premiered. Of course, the grown-up boy band really can't complain, as they've also pulled a similar trick—their upcoming Progress LP features a song called "What Do You Want From Me?", which is rather similar in title to Adam Lambert's recent hit "Whataya Want From Me." And here we though the whole N.E.R.D. "Nothing On You"/B.o.B "Nothin' On You" thing was going to be a one-time occurrence this year.
