Taylor Momsen managed to keep her clothes on yesterday during her performance with her band Pretty Reckless for Day 2 of Lollapalooza 2011. (Not that the “Criminal” singer had much clothing to keep on to anyway.) The Light Me Up band really rocked the Lolla crowd, and the 18-year-old was joined on stage (once again) by excited and shirtless fans during “Goin’ Down”. (And we’re not talking about Miley Cyrus in Melbourne “out of control”.) The Material Girl — born, it seems without a modest bone in her body — was joined on stage by a slew of female fans who all seemed to have misplaced their shirts. In addition to dancing with the swarm of lady supporters (pun intended), the “Criminal” songbird was even generous enough to give one gal a lap dance. If you’re looking for tips on how to stay cool this summer, look no further than Taylor Momsen’s onstage ensemble from this weekend’s Download Festival. The Pretty Reckless frontwoman opted for a torn and sleeveless t-shirt and duct tape in lieu of a bra (allowing for ample circulation) for her performance at Donington Park in Leicestershire. We’re not sure we have the rocker style to pull off this look (or the pain threshold to withstand removing the, ahem, “boob tape”), but if this July turns out to be another scorcher we might just have to reconsider. Before Taylor Momsen’s rockin’ acoustic performance at Hollywood’s Hard Rock Cafe, we caught up with the Pretty Reckless frontwoman at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for a little photo shoot. The often pantsless songbird surprised us by wearing baggy jeans, a simple top and Doc Marten boots for our poolside photo session. The potential X Factor co-host seemed to be channeling Rapunzel with her ultra long blonde locks (that is, if Rapunzel wore Metallica t-shirts with thigh-high stockings).
