Teen Choice Awards 2011: The Music Winners

BFFs Taylor Swift and Selene Gomez were the belles of the ball that was last night's Teen Choice Awards. Altogether, Swift, who's currently tearing through the great American pop songbook while on tour, surfed away with six awards, including Choice Music: Female Artist, Red Carpet Fashion Icon and the Ultimate Choice Award. Her pal Selena and The Scene nabbed boards for Choice Music: Group, Single and Love Song (for aptly-titled "Love You Like A Love Song," of course). Catch the full list of TCA 2011 winners below.

We already know Twilight, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift (not in attendance) were the big winners at this year's Teen Choice Awards. And now that the event—which went down on Sunday—aired on Fox last night, we finally got to see the performances. Cody Simpson Professes His Love At The Teen Choice Awards

Cody Simpson wasn't a winner at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards (airing tonight at 8 p.m.), nor was he even nominated. But that didn't stop the 13-year-old Australian pop pipsqueak from partaking in the fun on the red carpet at the event yesterday. Decked out in a white button-down shirt, Cody popped off his shades and professed his love for Tiger Beat magazine via a handheld sign. Keep playing your cards right, Cody, and you could wind up hosting the TCAs next year.

‘Twilight’, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift And David Archuleta Snag Teen Choice Awards

The 2010 Teen Choice Awards went down at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Univeral City, California last night, but the winners have already been announced ahead of the event's broadcast on Fox tonight. As Entertainment Weekly notes, Twilight racked up a grand total of 12 surboards, and Justin Bieber also managed to nab four (Male Artist, Breakout Artist: Male, Album: Pop, Summer Music Star), as did Taylor Swift (Movie: Female Breakout, Music: Female Country Artist, Country Song, Album: Country).
Plus, there really must be something 'bout David Archuleta, as the American Idol Season 7 runner-up won his sixth Teen Choice Award last night (Choice American Idol Alum). Head below to see the full list of winners. More »
Miley Cyrus: Still The Teens’ Choice, At Least For Now

Miley Cyrus, Jason Mraz, Taylor Swift, and Paramore were the big music-related winners at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, which were presented last night and will be shown in all their glory on Fox this evening. Britney Spears took home a lifetime achievement surfboard—known as the Ultimate Choice Award—for her contributions to kiddie culture over the course of the award show’s 11-year lifespan. Cyrus, meanwhile, grabbed six boards. That tally includes an award for “Before The Storm,” a collaboration with the Jonas Brothers that is apparently the official song of the summer for those young people motivated enough to vote on these sorts of things.
