We've watched Dakota Fanning grow up on camera, so we pretty much regard her as our make-believe little sister. Our sweet, innocent, goody-two-shoes little sister. Which must be why watching D-Fan thrust, strut and shake in barely-there lingerie (not to mention be grabbed and groped by a guy) in this The Runaways video montage makes us feel, well, icky. You've already heard Dakota rock out as Cherie Currie on the film's soundtrack—now you can watch the sixteen-year old in action after the jump. Just be prepared to feel super uncomfortable when you realize how much you enjoy it.

We've been treated to a few brief glimpses of what to expect in the upcoming Runaways biopic via quick snippets of the stars playing their roles, but today we finally got a sneak peak of what really matters: the music. We know Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning have got the glam-rock look down pat—but can they pull off Cherie Currie's and Joan Jett's powerful punk vocals? Listen to K-Stew and D-Fan (eh, not as great a nickname, sorry Dakota) singing "Cherry Bomb" from the film's soundtrack after the jump.

The Runaways needs to come out already, because we're growing very impatient with Kristen Stewart's haircut. How long can one girl sport an extremely outdated mullet without going bonkers? (Okay, Joan Jett has had the same exact hairstyle more or less her entire life, but that's no reason for K-Stew to follow suit.) But enough about hair-dos and don'ts. Admittedly, the Runaways biopic hitting theaters this March—ingeniously titled The Runaways—isn't really revving our motors because it's got that fangbanger Kristen Stewart's name on the poster. No, we're more amped over Dakota Fanning's turn as the wing-wigged Cherie Currie. Her wardrobe alone from all the promo pics is already worth about half the price of admission.
