If you're a starlet with a still-pretty-recent nudie-pic scandal and a middle-school fanbase, how do you get your mojo back? How do you brush off those claims of being inappropriate fodder for middle-school lockers' insides? If you're Vanessa Hudgens, you put out "Sneakernight"—yes, it's one word—which sounds like a Nikka Costa cast-off that had its lyrics hastily cleaned up for consumption by the tween set; one wonders if the song's construct of being about Hudgens putting her shoes on was a deliberate attempt to distract listeners from her past exploits, since I'm pretty sure that when the paparazzi catch her clubbing she's wearing shoes that are a bit more strappy, and a bit less comfy. The new single from cracked Chicago rap duo Dude N Nem—and this equally batshitty video featuring all sorts of vital idols and dandy highwaymen—actually exists? If so, what does it mean? Will all (novelty) rap music soon become Crazy Frog gibberish over Weird Al beats? Have Chicago hip-hop and Chicago pop-punk finally come together? Sure, British tabloids exist to exaggerate, but even accounting for a purple-tipped editing pen being used to punch up these rumors straight from the London set of Madonna's next video, we're already a little wary about the premiere of the final product. But maybe you've long harbored secret fantasies about engaging in S&M with bodybuilding pop superproducers?

We can reveal that in the promo Madge plays - wait for it - a pimp who rescues the planet in an impressive 240 seconds.

Justin Timberlake and US producer Timbaland play her bitches.

The video has been shot over three days in a top-secret location in West London, and included a gruelling all-night shoot yesterday.
In the sexually charged video, Madge cracks the whip and gets her slaves, Justin and Timbaland, to do whatever she wants as she towers over their quivering bodies in killer heels.

Madonna "whipping" Timbaland. Well that certainly qualifies for the all-time Do Not Want list. Maybe this is karmic punishment for both JT and Tim helping to inflict the "Ayo Technology" video on the planet? But if so, why do we have to suffer too?

In this week's Who Charted, I noted that the Alvin & The Chipmunks soundtrack had taken up residence in the album chart's top 20, which prompted this comment from our in-house chart guru Chris Molanphy: "I chose to ignore this in last week's "100 and Single" column, but contrary to my prediction of a couple of weeks ago, not only is "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)" not gone yet, but three other Chipmunks songs debuted on the Hot 100 last week, including their cover of Daniel Powter's "Bad Day." Imagine, if you can, the existence of people who went out of their way to download the Chipmunks version of that song." It's actually even more frightening to imagine those peoples' existence when you've heard the Chipmunks' take on the track, so... here you go!

How did they manage to make it more plodding? How? Also: Do you think the lead vocal is actually handled by David Cross?
