Not to ruin your morning, but there was one sentence from the L.A. Times article about the forthcoming Celine Dion/Ben Moody collaboration that seemed to be worth highlighting. "One, a cover of Heart's 'Alone,' gets a slightly creepy makeover from tinkling pianos and enveloping strings, suggesting that Dion's intentions when she gets you alone may not be as wholesome as planned." First of all, covering anything from Heart's Capitol years seems somewhat unwelcome, but not nearly as disconcerting as the idea of being alone with Celine and her "unwholesome" intentions. She's pumped her home country has better funny money now, plus she's the queen or at least hero to queens in Las Vegas.
Speaking of which: are you guys making it out to Vegoose? and if so, buy me a ticket. That is all.

Wouldn't the act of Celine covering any song automatically guarantee "a slightly creepy makeover"?
DIONESSENCE! *applause*
I'm actually kinda looking forward to the results here, and not at all in a trainwreck way.
