The Next Great American Band, the American Idol spinoff that will somehow put 10 bands through the Idol paces, will have Sheila E. in the Paula Abdul role, Johnny Rzeznik in the Randy Jackson role, and an Australian guy whose nickname is—I am not kidding—"Dicko" in the, um, "dicko" role. Finding someone with a crazy accent was a nice touch, guys. [USA Today]

I know some kids that will be competing in this. They're the ones dressed like zombies. Yeah, that's right they dress like zombies and all their songs are about zombies. It's a great gimmick - they're gonna be huge, mark my words.
