Today's USA Today takes a behind-the-scenes peek at American Idol's top-four week, where the remaining contestants will try to put their imprimatur on the songs of the Bee Gees. It's full of tidbits about the contestants and the show (Jordin likes to shop! Blake carries around a laptop! Wednesday's show will have some awkward Fantastic Four cross-promotion and a Hard Day's Night homage!), and the details of what the final four will be singing tonight, which are listed after the jump:
Jordin: "To Love Somebody," "Woman in Love"
Melinda: "Love You Inside Out," "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart"
Blake: "You Should Be Dancing" (allegedly with beatboxing), "This Is Where I Came In"
LaKisha: "Run To Me," "Stayin' Alive"
We're completely unsurprised by LaKisha's pick of "Stayin' Alive"—her song choices seem to be dictated equally by past Idol winners and Lite-FM programmers. But we're more surprised that no one picked "Tragedy"—surely that song would have been great for a beatboxing middle eight.

That photo could almost be from a Wes Anderson film. (Except that the stars are not uniformly pale white guys who pause a lot.)
WTF, no one's doing Jive Talkin? Or Massachussetts? Or You Win Again?
I'm sad.
OK, I know you're being sarcastic, but I love LOVE "Tragedy," and I think either LaKisha or Melinda has the voice to kill it on that song. But I suppose "Stayin' Alive" (yawn) is the safe choice. Buh-bye LaKisha.
What? No tracks from Odessa? GEEEZ, it's like these guys have never even heard of the BeeGees or something.
I wonder how hard Melinda fought for "To Love Somebody" before letting Jordin have it. It's the "soul classic" in the Gibb catalog, and tailor-made for Doolittle's voice.
Not that she won't do fine with "Broken Heart" - Al Green made that one a soul number, too.
"Jive Talkin'" has so much beat boxing potential as well.
No "More than a Woman" or "How Deep is Your Love"?!? I know I am taking this show waaay too seriously when I'm getting pissed over the song choices.
Lakisha looks like Tomo-kun in that pic!
Oops...I mean DOMO-kun.
Just want to add, as someone who doesn't watch the show, that without the beatboxing reference above, I couldn't be sure which name was the male's.
So "Blake" likes 311? Carry on.
Keep 'em runnin'! They could all use the exercise...
@Xenu: And the show would be forced to find four less boring contestants.
You have to seriously question anyone's musical taste that has to perform a Bee Gee's song and doesn't pick Jive Talkin'.
Hey, is that Sanjaya chasing them in the pink hat on the left?
That's pretty fitting actually. The ghost of that kid is going to be chasing whoever wins this year as the only interesting thing about the season.
