Located in Los Angeles, California, [LAUREL CANYON ANIMAL COMPANY] is dedicated to creating original musical works inspired by the relationships between animals and people-and to raising the awareness of people as to the sentience of all animals.

Each CD produced by the LAUREL CANYON ANIMAL COMPANY is devoted to a particular kind of animal or species. Each track is devoted to a particular concern, situation or shared experience of the people who love those animals or the animals themselves.

They're not kidding. You can choose from Cat-A-Tonic, Ugly Dogs Need More Love (with the blush-inducing "Doin' It Doggie Stye"), and, most amazingly, Koko, which contains the Dr. John-meets-Dr. John Oates "Even Gorillas Get The Blues."

Seriously: Animals wearing sunglasses, bad puns, and rap references. Is someone reading our wish book?
