...because we want to endure it with you! We'll be liveblogging tonight's festivities, which kick off tonight at 8:30 P.M. EST on VH1 Classic. So many questions will be answered, such as: How many times will Eddie Vedder invoke his hardscrabble youth will inducting R.E.M.? Will David Lee Roth pull an ODB and rush the stage? And what will happen when Patti Smith finally bumps into Patty Smyth? All this and more! Maybe.

Can't: no VH1 Classic on my DirecTV (apparently it's some kind of premium channel to Murdoch's minions). Have set the TiVo to record the rebroadcast on regular VH1 next Saturday. So do a good job with the liveblogging, 'cuz that's all most of us will have on this circus for a while.
If you live blog in a forest and no one's there to watch, do you make a sound (or something)?
