Fergie Gives Princess Diana Slightly Misguided Sartorial Tribute

Yesterday's Concert For Diana was full of many inexplicable things—eighty appearances by Joss Stone, an unable-to-improvise Ricky Gervais, and a seven-minute version of "I'll Be Missing You" among them—but the head-scratching kicked off pretty much right away, when Fergie took the stage:

It made us feel terrible, really; obviously she was trying to pay tribute to Diana with her outfit, but someone forgot to tell her that Prince Charles' tampon-fueled pillow talk wasn't directed toward his deceased ex-wife, but her romantic rival, Camilla Parker-Bowles. (However, our sympathies immediately went away when she started in on that awful "Big Girls Don't Cry" song.)
