The Sugarcubes—the off-kilter Icelandic band that launched the career of actress/singer/professional quirk Bjork—are having a one-off reunion show in Reykjavik to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first English-language single, the bubbly Bjork-growl showcase "Birthday." The one time I saw them in 1992 El Vez joined them for an encore on "Blue-Eyed Pop." Great stuff; they should ask him to come along too.
Unless they are opening for Rockstar: Supernova's Magni, colour me uninterested.
Einar can finally make his triumphant comeback!
Am I the only one who found the Sugarcubes terrible?
