As rumored last week, the final events at New York's Shea Stadium will be a string of concerts by noted Yankees fan Billy Joel, which will take place on unspecified dates sometime following the Mets' 2008 playoff run. I will defend the Billy Joel Experience. He's no Keith Hernandez, of course, but Streetlife Serenader has its moments.

We can only hope that the limited edition Bobble Head Billy Joel will be sold at this event.
