So as I was just eating my lunch, I nearly choked on a wad of white bread and questionable-smelling salami when I saw that my favorite band ever, the Eagles, would be taking it easy with the hat acts and American Idol winners at the Country Music Awards in November, which is apparently their "first-ever awards show performance." This bit of bait also got us thinking: Maura is already planning on visiting the Idolator floptrap house in New Jersey to live-blog the BET Awards, but should we also live-blog the CMA's? Does Idolator's audience really care about the country music? And so we put it you, the people:

does idolator's audience care about the BET awards or the coonery that is sure to take place there?
I don't care about it really, I just want to visualize the oncoming train that is live blogging country music mentally growing in your view until, shrieking, you madly type something a) humourous b) pitiful.
^_^ Good luck with your demons.
@brainchild: "Coonery"? Yowza.
I'm voting no because the internet could use more country music blogs and less half-hearted country coverage by pop music blogs. Also, I get the feeling that people always vote yes for live-blogs because they like to see you guys suffer.
oh, i have the proper credentials to use the word. lol
For sure. In fact, I even have a few things I'd like to see covered in this assuredly awesome live blogging session....
1. Alan Jackson's mustache
2. George Strait's "Straitest Man In America Tight Blue Jeans"
3. Faith Hill's "Return to her roots"
4. Big & Rich's amazing wardrobe
5. Kenny Chesney acting butch
The list can seriously go on and on.
-nt-
@rrnate: If you don't mind...
6. The size of that dude from Montgomery Gentry's head and/or neck.
Literally, not figuratively.
Well, I'll be watching (shocker) but I think it may make your guys' heads explode.
I loves me some Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.
