No idea why this has been on the brain all morning, but thankfully YouTube has a clip of Nice & Smooth's 1990 hit "Funky For You," which semi-famously opens with the poorly fact-checked observation that "Dizzy Gillespie plays the sax." Watching the video now, we can't help but wonder if either Nice and/or Smooth had some hang-ups about appearing masculine, as the number of scantily clad honeys in the background seems to increase in each shot.
