The 1956 Jayne Mansfield vehicle The Girl Can't Help It is all spectacle, from the eye-popping color palette to Mansfield's button-popping outfits. Its rock-world milieu also allows it to include performances by the likes of Little Richard, Fats Domino, and Eddie Cochran. But one of the movie's best moments comes when torch singer Julie London mimes her spare, gorgeous "Cry Me A River" while acting out the role of "whiskey hallucination" and wearing a runway show's worth of incredible outfits (check out the seafoam floor-length gown in the fireplace shot).
