Hey, fame is fleeting. And I bet he's still getting laid with girls who were big fans from 1993...back when they were in junior high.

Ahhh, I still remember seeing them play in high school at the Orange County (NY) Fairgrounds with Soul Asylum and Screaming Trees. WOW did they suck live.

That being said, I still haven't sold their CD's back. How much will a near-mint copy of Homebelly Groove fetch me, I wonder?

Ha! This was my first concert! My parents took me (I was in fifth grade). My mom and I really liked Soul Asylum, but I thought the Spin Doctors were annoying.

I remember reading with a chuckle that Chris Barron suffered some sort of throat condition and wouldn't be able to sing again, but I guess that didn't last...

So I'm assuming he's in town to play a benefit for Hearst College's student radio station?
