The personal assistant of former Ramones manager Linda Stein has confessed to murdering her boss. Apparently, 26-year-old Natavia Lowery snapped after Stein blew marijuana smoke in her face; Lowery then grabbed a "yoga stick," described by New York police commissioner Ray Kelly as two pieces of wood tied together with cord, and hit Stein six or seven times in the head. She is going to be arraigned on second-degree murder charges later today. [NYO]

Maybe Gawker should take down those "Your Assistant Hates You" shirts for a while.
I can't wait until this is a Law & Order episode.
@aluberalles: Agh, I was totally about to say the same thing.
@aluberalles, @therichgirlsareweeping: What with the writers' strike, we may have to wait for it for a while...
What can you do?
Apparently only the finest ganga for little miss thang, or it was laced with something nasty.
Plus, the commissioner of the NYPD calls nunchaku "yoga sticks"? No wonder cops mistake a wallet for a Glock and blow some poor fool away. However, nunchaku would be the only way I could do yoga- to get me to relax enough to meditate you'd have to give me a good whack upside the head and knock me unconscious. Not to mention the whacks it would take to get my ankles behind my head.
@therichgirlsareweeping: Shearwater played a fairly under-the-radar [until The Onion listed it, with the ambiguous info 'free w/ UT ID'] "students only" show at the Cactus Cafe on Thursday. Thankfully, those lame general undergrads barely filled half the 150 capacity, and those lame door-watching undergrads didn't dare question a grownup with a purposeful look and stride.
Currently listening to: Ramones, "You're Gonna Kill That Boss"
This is really a shame. Black flags will fly. Namaste, Linda.
