Let the pointless recap of the thing we capped in real time last night continue! (Well, okay, we didn't know about this one at the time.) So it looks like Kid Rock was admonished by the police to the tune of one misdemeanor assault charge following getting into a girly fight with Tommy Lee at the Video Music Awards. Billboard reminds us that master of understatement Sway said he saw Rock "deck" Lee while others reported only seeing Mr. Ritchie slap him around. Needless to say, both brought just that much more class to the show's sense of restraint and rectitude.

Hmmm, doesn't Kid Rock have a new album coming out and no one has paid attention to him in, oh, close to a decade?

i do agree, tho, that last night's cat fight seems pretty calculated.
