Indiana guitar hero Henry Lee Summer, whose cover of "Hey Baby" snuck into the top 20 in the late '80s, sideswiped cars, trucks, and at least one home while he went on an SUV-enabled reign of terror in an Indiana mobile-home court. After resisting arrest, he was Tasered by an officer. Ouch! Well, perhaps this can help him revisit his Aquanetted heyday's hairdo—after all, it worked for fellow Taser-victim Phil Spector.

Is it bad that I being from Indiana, have never heard of this guy before this article?
Nah, just means you were lucky. The same way that apparently nobody in Italy knows who Cecila Bartoli is.
is it bad that i not being from Indiana, have heard of this guy and in fact used to own his 1987 self titled record? i thought he was dead, turns it was just his career.
Indeed, being from Indiana, Henry Lee Summer was, in a way, the "Poor Man's Mellencamp." I remember people being excited about his success in my Northwest Indiana town, but alas, like most heroes in Indiana, most become relegated back to their roots where they have 4 cars that aren't mobile, but a home that is.
Henry Lee Summer in trouble with the law? Man, that's as likely as Bloomington native David Lee Roth getting knocked trying to buy a dime bag in Central Pa--never mind.
Is that an album cover? Or a headshot for the Teen Wolf 2 casting call?
HLS was my first ever concert! After a Pacers game in 1987, they made everyone take off their shoes to come onto the floor to see the show. As could probably be predicted, people were slipping and sliding everywhere, falling on top of one another. It was wonderful and painful.
Hoosier pride!
The classic-rock turdburglars in Indianapolis radio like to pretend this guy is/was a big deal.
The only reason I remember his name is because I use to confuse him with Kenny Wayne Sheppard.
