Live Nation is expected to announce its purchase of Signatures Network—a San Francisco-based company that handles licensing, Web development, and fan-club operations for artists like U2, Justin Timberlake, and Tom Petty—within the next two weeks or so.   • This is so they can extract even more money from fans. Now, if you want a ticket to a concert, you have to join the fan club, which costs $, in order to get access to tickets, in addition to the handling fees. They started doing this at McCarren Pool in 06. God Live Nation is evil.
