Jimmy Buffett alleges that Six Flags' Bugs Bunny-themed "Carrothead Club," where kids wear foam hats and have the occasional brunch with the wascally wabbit, is infringing on the term "Parrotheads"; Six Flags rep calls Buffett's fanbase "significantly older Hawaiian shirt-wearing, margarita-swilling Parrotheads" in response. Could this be the start of perhaps the greatest copyright-related beef ever? [NYP]

They could've called the kid's club *The Carrot-Tops*, which would've led to an altogether different, almost certainly prop-comedy infused lawsuit of its own. If only we were so lucky.
The Freaking Weasels would not only be a better, more nonsensical name; but frankly, I would join.
Ugh. It's stories like this that make me oh-so-proud to be working in intellectual property.
