But my favorite early techno song is the one with the samples from Dune: "The spice must flow." I wonder if they have that one in the Belgian music vault?

I learned from the wiki page it was actually the first techno song to hit the Billboard Hot 100. They later went on to create the Venga Boys. I apologize in the name of my people for both.

Regardless of the mistake, there's nothing wrong with a little electronica mentioned on Idolator once in a while. And less rap. :)~

@chrisb: The track you're thinking of is "Spice" by Eon. I didn't find it in their archive.

BONUS TRIVIA: Denzil Slemming, the guy behind L.A. Style, also had a project called Nymphomania, whose song "I Want Your Body" was featured in the trailer and movie True Romance (the scene in Gary Oldman's drug dealer pad).
