Judging by the cringeworthy Beatles-punning headlines floating around the Internet today, the opportunity provided by the news of Paul McCartney's budding relationship with a rich New Yorker must have thrilled many a Fab Four-loving copyeditor during a long, cold night of dotting is and crossing ts; sadly, not all of the efforts put forth hit the right note. After the jump, we present four of them to you, and ask: Which one was written by someone who needs to come together with a stylebook ASAP?

"Tryst and Shout" is at least original. "Ticket To Ride" is overreaching, and "Little Help From His Friends" and "All Paul Needs Is Love" is just lame.
If we're using the car, how about "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?"

I voted for "Ticket to Ride" because that's clearly a Lennon song.
I'm gonna have to be the nerd and flag all of these choices. "All You Need Is Love" and "Ticket To Ride" were Lennon's songs, "With A Little Help From My Friends" was written by Lennon/McCartney specifically for Ringo, and "Twist And Shout" wasn't even written by Lennon or McCartney [of course].
A bigger question -- does anyone still care about a) which songs were written by Lennon and which songs were written by McCartney, and b) who McCartney is diddling these days? I mean maybe other than this guy?

McCartney still cares about who wrote what, as evidenced by his efforts a few years ago to have some of the songwriting credits switched from L-Mc to Mc-L.
