As it turns out, one of the members of The Next Great American Band's all-strings, no-drums outfit The Clark Brothers is no stranger to the CBS Television City stage that the show is taped on; he played fiddle for Carrie Underwood when she performed on American Idol last season. I'm not sure if this speaks more to the power of Idol synergy or more to the fact that Band is shaping up to be something of a flop. [rickey.org]
