The Michael Hutchence-free, Rock Star-assisted version of INXS has been dropped by Epic, its US label, just days after its successor, the supergroup formerly known as Supernova, tabbed former Hooters cook Lukas Rossi to be its new frontman. Nu-INXS, which is now led by season 1 Rock Star winner JD Fortune, is still signed in Australia, and its album is nearing the double-platinum mark there. (In Australia, though, a platinum record is one that's moved 70,000 copies — or about 930,000 fewer copies than are required to reach platinum certification in the US.)

I thought the Village Voice was, like, good and junk.
If "Joy Press" is representative of all of their writers... Well, the word "Eeeep" comes to mind.
It's been an interesting year.
I hope Lukas gets Hep C from Pam Anderson and falls off the face of the earth.
I'm afraid you're just not right for our label, Sony BMG
