BRANDON ROUTH MAKES SEVERAL PUBLICISTS HAPPY

superman.jpg

It's a good day for incestuous publicity over at the iTunes' Celebrity Playlist section. First, Janet Jackson manages to mention both The Jacksons and the Jackson Five on her list, accurately noting that the brothers were once "so innocent, so young, so carefree, so amazing, so missed." Then Brandon Routh works in this multi-tasking plug:

Sara Routh, "You're Never Gone" (Track 6): This song really says what Superman Returns is about. Bravo to my sis for hitting the nail on the head.

Alas, much to the chagrin of Routh's Superman Returns co-stars, there's no mention of this on his mix, though there is Jamiroquai, which is the musical equivalent of earth-borne kryptonite.

(By the way, we saw Returns last week, and it's pretty great—not as good as Superman II, but way better than Poetic Justice).
