John Mayer blogs on his arrest-filled show in Hershey, Pa.: "Though the names of the arrested were not released to the public, I was able to obtain them by way of my well-placed source in the Hershey police department. Upon first glance, I find it interesting that of the 63 arrested, 55 were named Kyle." [johnmayer.com]

From the paper's comment section:
...the message is that people that follow John Mayer are somehow more criminal. Yeah, right.
I have become a law-and-order voter.
I thought quoting John Mayer's blog was Stereogum's thing. I kid.
Seriously though, how do you quote this and leave out the best part?
"If I happen to be walking backstage and I see any of you young men passed out drunk on a stretcher, make no mistake about it, you will come-to in front of your disappointed parents with a face full of Sharpie and the sneaking suspicion that you've been teabagged by one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people of 2007."
I feel great shame in admitting that John Mayer would probably be a really fun guy to hang out with.
I'm a John Mayer fan. Yeah, I'll cop to it. But it was a hell of a lot more fun in '02, before he blew up- then again, isn't that always the case?
@whoneedslight: His dickosity at Live Earth makes me wonder on that point, but that said, I do think he's a great blogger.
And...Stereogum posted it.
@maura: But was it really dickosity? He was asked an ill-conceived form question at a charity event, asking him to undercut his own credibility. When half the world was already calling the event out as limousine liberalism, it shouldn't have been surprising to a reporter that the artists might be touchy about that.
What exactly happened at Live Earth? I only caught him playing guitar with The Police before Kanye came out and looked stupid.
@Juancho: He called out an interviewer for asking a dumb, counter-productive question after the show ("What is your biggest eco-sin?"). It was an overreaction, but an entertaining one.
