They're from Houston, Tx., have a screamo sound they describe as "two eagles fucking inside of a whiskey bottle," and have probably gotten more hits in the past twelve hours than in the entire last two years. Allow us to present the latest in a long line of unfortunately monikored bands: The Jonbenets. They'd better be sure to throw some extra merch money to whatever band member came up with that lame-ass attempt at a shocking band name—yeah, yeah, we know; it's "a punk-rock commentary on media culture," blah blah—because this is going to be the biggest page-view day of their life. Unless, of course, they change their name to The JohnMarkKerrs.
