Wow, that's...really sad.
And the fallout on Kanye's career will be fascinating to watch. She was the portable generator for his ego and confidence.
I'm glad Graduation is already out, so he'll have a year or two to digest this before formally recording something. Not that he won't talk to anyone who'll listen and/or drop countless mixtape rhymes in the meantime, mind you.
I once had a scout leader who died on Christmas day due to complications from gastric bypass surgerey. That would probably be better fodder for The Weakerthans than for Kanye though.
