We were a little underwhelmed by "I Started A Fire," the first song to leak from Ash's forthcoming Twilight Of The Innocents (Really? You guys sure you wanna stick with that title?). Thankfully, "You Can't Have It All" is much better—a bit more melody, a much shinier chorus, and some laser-zap sounds in the background:

You just reminded me that "Jack Names the Planets" was my favorite song 10 years ago.
didn't ash use laser-zap sounds on "girl from mars"? gimmicks like that only work if you use them sparingly - although i guess "1977" was a few albums ago so most people have probably forgotten.
