Perhaps EMI is hoping to get more new releases into rotation at their new neighbor, WFMU. That'll work out great.
EMI already has offices in Jersey. I doubt they're moving EMI corporate from 5th Ave in Manhattan to Jersey City. This is probably more a distribution and marketing move. Just a guess.
