Stuck On Repeat: Beck Goes To The Dark Side

We try to be pretty sparing when it comes to posting mash-ups, because they get a little tiring after a while, and also because the genre seems to have fallen into a "this song's title is kind of the same as that song's title!" stylistic rut as of late. Another Day, Another "Bastardly" Mash-Up

Thanks to Chris over at gorilla vs. bear for pointing us in the direction of Bastard Pet Sounds, a mash-up project by someone named TOTOM. As you can guess by the title, Bastard rejiggers the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds album, using tracks from the likes of Dr. Dre, Queens Of The Stone Age, and even the Italian horror-prog outfit Goblin. Three of our favorites are below, but we suggest going to the site and getting the whole thing as fast as you can, before the RIAA once again tramples our fair-use rights. More »
