Idolator
Yesterday, we called out to our readers: Could anyone come up with the Alice In Chains/Talking Heads/Wolf Parade/Rakim blend that was conjured up by the spittle and ire of an irritable blogger? We're happy to report that one Idolator fan rose to the challenge, and crafted a blend of three of the four bands. (Alas, he had no Alice In Chains records in his arsenal.) Please enjoy the Talking Wolf Rakims, which was put together by a reader who goes by the alias Cassette Stories. The tracks used to create the song were:

This is the sh*t! Can we expect this on the "Sure, Go ahead and Sue Us" Mash up CD from Idolator and Crew? It'll be like that over the transom mix tape that we all got when we was just kids in suburbia. Rick Derringer, The Tubes, The Stranglers, and Marvin Gaye all co-existing happily together on that staticy magnetic ribbon.
