Remember when we told you back in September that Justin Timberlake's "My Love" would be played out in just a few weeks? Well, as more remakes and remixes pop up seemingly every day, it's clear that we had no idea what the hell we were talking about. But this may be the finest "My Love" moment yet: Diplo has welded the track to LCD Soundsystem's not-yet-released "Someone Great"—a haunting number that may be as ubiquitous in 2007 as "My Love" was in 2006 (courtesy of Discobelle.net).

i suffered through about 3/4ths of this before i remembered that i had the power to turn it off.
Played out in just a few weeks!?! Its Pitchforks #1 single of 2006! Talk about indier than thou. So indie that they are rebelling against the indie scene and getting into the mainstream just to f--- with you. God bless them.
"Not-yet-released 'Someone Great'"? It's one of the highlights of LCD's Nike track. It arrives right when the runners among us are hitting our stride -- right before we yarf up last night's tequila.
Good call. I confess I haven't listened to the Nike Run thing since the day we posted it--but playing the new album non-stop.
