Our thanks to the tipster who sent along this MP3 of "Pig," a track purportedly taken from Rivers Cuomo's latest demo CD. The recording itself is pretty bare—it's just piano and guitar, with a little bit of harmonica and a whole lotta man-as-animal metaphor—but it's a charmingly downbeat number, and an intriguing look at what's next for Weezer:

Since no one has bothered to comment on this, I will say I like the song and that the infamous* 0.0 Pitchfork review of Make Believe was stupid.
* actually, not sure if it's infamous, I may have only talked about it with my cat...
I like it, too--and the Weez comeback tour hit a snag for me halfway through Maladroit. This reminds of a older stuff.
