  • The Antarctic adventure quip is not so far off-the-mark.... I was thinking on Eminem when I was watching Babel, but paying more attention to Gustavo Santaolalla's score. I have a coupla discs produced by GS, mostly Molotov releases, & I got to thinking -- Em seemed a li'l tired on Encore, maybe a change of scenery, down by Buenos Aires (Santaolalla's Argentine, at least), would do well. Change up the instruments behind him, too.
    Could work.

  • Eminem's delivery is still as good as ever, but his lyrical content just hasn't been the same since the 8 mile soundtrack.

    Granted, Eminem has more legitimate musical chops than MM, but I think people are now responding with a yawn where they used to be outraged.
