Today, the blog The Runout Groove posted a few ace tracks from bands that we were completely unfamiliar with; our favorite was by the Brighton two-piece Blood Red Shoes, who have been releasing singles here and there for the past two years. The distracted-culture ode "ADHD" is both bombastic and minimalist, and Laura-Mary Carter has a bellow that recalls Kathleen Hanna in her prrrime:

run out groove is a great blog. have you written about their pulp discography? anyone who's ever gotten irate about the "DJ" collective misshapes b/c they love the original song by Pulp should be required to read that Run Out Groove- 9 part? discography. awesome.
These dudes were part of a great new bands feature on AMG a few months back. Also included were this Indoesian band White Shoes and the Couples Company
I haven't seen the kid at right since the "Losing My Religion" video!
