Air Miami was the blink-and-you'll-miss-it follow-up band for two-thirds of Unrest, and they lasted long enough to big-up the World Cup and put out the full-length gem Me. Me. Me. in 1995. The CD has seemingly fallen out of print, although the LP is still available from Mark Robinson's label, Teen Beat; "Dolphin Expressway" is one of the album's airiest offerings, and it never fails to result in us blissing out when it comes across our speakers.

This is actually one of those rare time I prefer the remix to the original, it has about two times more "blissed" in it.
i always thought this was a pretty bland record.
Search out "Pucker" from some 4AD comp circa 1995 -- an awesome non-album track, perhaps their best.
To post "Dolphin Expressway" instead of "I Hate Milk" is a crime, for which no punishment could be sufficent.
It's too bad they didn't include "Airplane Rider" on the album. This was their 7" debut, and you can only find the A-side digitally on one of 4AD's promo CD comps -- the paper case one that's golden. You know, that one.
i used to absolutely love that record, then about a year ago i put it on and for some reason found myself completely annoyed with it. of course that kinda stuff happens. on a related note, i still listen the hell outta imperial ffrr and perfect teeth, which contains one of the most perfect pop songs, cath carroll.
i wish i had a digital copy of "airplane rider." it might be time for me to finally break out the iMic ...
Dudes? What about Air Miami's "World Cup Fever"?
That shiznit is off da hook!
Or something.
