Thanks to Chromewaves for digging around the DKNY website (!) long enough to find a few new Ambulance Ltd instrumental tracks. The songs themselves are perfectly innocuous instrumentals, but they reminded us just how much we love the band's New English EP, which came out earlier this year. Upon first hearing "Arbuckle's Swan Song," below, we assumed it had to be a cover of an old '70s lite-rock standard; turns out it's an original number by Matthew Dublin, who may not even be in the band anymore. Maybe he's moved on to form Seals & Crofts & Dublin?

He's not in the band anymore--apparently has a new project called Red Romance, who, sadly, don't have other songs like "Arbuckle's Swan Song."
Suggested complementary listening: "Here At the Western World" by Steely Dan, with similar nods to Asia and verboten recreation. Also, jazzy guitar and backup vocals, but that's to be expected.
