According to MTV.com, four demos from the new Smashing Pumpkins album may have leaked online—we say "may," because there's no way to authenticate that these are actually from the band's recent sessions with Roy Thomas Baker. One of the tracks is below, and if this is actually Billy Corgan, we'll eat our hats. We'd eat Corgan's hat, but he got into a backstage brawl with a fedora during the Mellon Collie tour, and has never looked back:

Someone refresh my memory- is Jimmy Chamberlin still their drummer? Cause if so that's not him playing drums. And I concur, there's NO way that's Billy Corgan singing.

This sounds more like Fastball trying to cover a Sisters of Mercy song than it does the Smashing Pumpkins.

He normally looks like a fetus with hyperthyroidism, but this pic made me notice he's got great cheekbones. Really, the bottom half of his face seems to belong on a smaller, more model-y body.
whatever that is it's really bad.
