Yes, yes, we know—you're all hopped up for the new Ted Leo album, which will be out any day now (and as well you should be, for it is very good, despite an album cover that was clearly stolen from Genesis). But in the meantime, you should familiarize yourself with Chisel, the mod-rock trio Leo formed in 1990, and with whom he mapped out his brainy-young-man sound. It's hard to pick a favorite from their three-album catalog, but for now, we'll go with 1996's 8 A.M. All Day, which we've handily condensed below:
