The Vault: Ludus Gets In The Picture

Liverpool-born artist Linder Sterling is probably most well-known for her photographs of Morrissey and her "menstrual egg timer," which received a Factory Records catalog number despite never being put into production. (It was given the number FAC 8.) She also was a vocalist who inspired the Buzzcocks' "What Do I Get?" and fronted the band Ludus. The tireless archivists at Les Temps Modernes have collected much of their work, and our particular favorite is 1982 track "She She," which possesses got one of the most effervescent horn lines we've ever heard:
