After reading that British-rock sorta-legends the Wildhearts were returning to the U.S. this year, we immediately dug out the group's 2003 release The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed, as fine a piece of pop-metal as you're going to find these days. The band's status has been pretty off-and-on-again lately, so let's hope they keep it together long enough to make it to South By Southwest.

I saw them in Philly a couple years ago. Fun for the first 15 minutes or so then you realize that all their songs are pretty much the same.
.....The first track sounded a bit like Warrant, especially the guitars, kind of not real bad metal, then for track two...
.....I'm going to have to sanitize my headphones. How does a band degenerate like this?
They've got a tune called "Suckerpunch" that really pumps my nads.
Should be greater than they are. They always seemed to be *just* out of step at any one time -- but that actually endears me to them.
Each of their albums has that similar-but-different feel to it. Asking me to choose which one is the best is like asking a mother to choose which child she loves most.
