TOWER RECORDS FINALLY ENTERS THE YEAR 2002

tower.gif

In yet another attempt to join a field in which they can't compete, ailing brick-and-mortar chain (and former music-mag publisher) Tower Records launched its digital download site today. The pros: Plenty of big names (Shakira, Gnarls, etc.) for $.99 a song. The cons: Those songs are pretty much available anywhere, and the only "exclusive" we could find was a Fatboy Slim remix. Oh, and the songs won't work on iPods! This is probably their worst idea since...well, since this.
