Two of the Reno 911 guys are apparently concocting a musical based on the life and times of Stephen Patrick Morrissey. In response, the other ex-members of The State have sped up work on Everything's Coming Up Roddy!, their own musical based on the works of Aztec Camera. [NME]

If they can tap the majesty of "Porcupine Racetrack," they just might have a hit.

@janine: Damn you. Do you know how many years it took to get that out of my head? "I'm the slowest porcupine in town..."
Note to Ben Garant and Tom Lennon (who probably don't read Idolator):
JUST FUCKING DONT PLEASE KTHX
@loudersoft: For those two, something tells me that a strict schedule of counting money and writing down borderline gay slurs (jokes?) doesn't leave enough time in the day to even think about whatever an "Idolator" is. I do have much love, however, for this "porcupine racetrack" you all speak of.
